ABOUT MICHELLE
Michelle studied for her B.A hons at the University of Sunderland in 1998, thereafter pursuing her career in making sculptures for private and public spaces. Michelle went on to complete an Master’s degree at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh in 2022.
Michelle’s work is deeply rooted in the traditional representation of human anatomy, beauty and form at it’s best. Working in the contemporary material of steel wire allows light and shadow to enhance the sculpture in dramatic ways.
On completion of her studies at 23 years old, Michelle was chosen as one of Britain’s New Contemporaries to exhibit in London. From there on she has become renowned for her specialism and has created installations of all sizes for public spaces around the U.K and beyond.
